It is Cornwall Council that ultimately makes decisions in the process, often using delegated powers to the officer dealing with the application. Members of the public are welcome to attend FTC planning meetings and express their views during the part of the meeting that allows public participation. It is important to remember, however, that the FTC planning committee can only consider material planning reasons in reaching decisions.
